After attending the School of Art in Selva, Otto Irsara worked in Germany and Great Britain for several years. He returned to the valleys at the beginning of the 1970s. His preferred medium was wood, although he also experimented with bronze. His bond with Lois Irsara finally led him to dedicating himself to painting and drawing. His first works were strongly influenced by naturalism, then he gradually gave up representing details, which gave his work a plastic quality. The central theme of his work is scenes of daily life. He died in La Villa in 2004.
