SMACH is an art-nature project, which began in 2012. This open-air biannual exhibition represents the combination of art and nature, the latter the backdrop to the artistic creations, which are designed and adapted specifically to the various locations. The event begins with an international art competition where artists display their pieces in places of historical and cultural interest in Val Badia. The project has grown since its inception and in 2018 the non-profit association SMACH was founded to achieve the project’s aims: the biannual SMACH art competition, the valley of art and side events.
