David Moroder

David Moroder grew up in a Val Gardena family of artisans and learned how to handle a carving knife at an early age. He received important artistic impulses from his brother Rudolf Moroder and from Augusto Murer. David Moroder was able to combine elements of realism with modern tendencies in his sculptures. He abstracted his formal language without completely abandoning figuration.
