Lois Irsara

Lois Irsara studied painting at the Colombo School of Art in Milan. He used a wide range of techniques for his remarkably expressive portraits and paintings of people depicted in various different life circumstances. In contrast, his still life and images of flowers and landscapes recreate these people’s backdrops. He also held weekly painting classes, which helped to develop artistic practices in the valleys. He died in Badia in 2014.
