Liceo Artistico Cortina

The Liceo Artistico originated from the Istituto d’Arte founded in 1846. Due to the national school reform in the academic year 2010/2011, the Istituto d’Arte was transformed into a Liceo Artistico. The Liceo offers the subjects of Design and Interior Architecture. The curriculum includes two basic aspects: the humanistic-scientific basis and the artistic basis. The curriculum provides for students to learn the art of woodworking, to deal with furniture and design, but also to acquire knowledge of the cultural and technical heritage of the fine arts.
