Markus Moling studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and the Brera Academy in Milan. His work focuses on nature, ranging from hill landscapes to mountains, and emanates a feeling of peace, silence and harmony. All his themes are shown through the lens of his feelings and experiences. He has also tried his hand at sculpture: he designed the altar and pulpit in the parish church of La Valle. He has also exhibited his works at many shows in galleries and cultural centres in South Tyrol including the Circle at Urtijëi, the Prisma Gallery in Bolzano and the Überetsch-Unterland District Community Gallery in Egna. He lives and works in Molini di Tures.
