After studying modern languages and literature in Padua, Cristina De Grandi obtained her PHD at the University of Siena and spent time studying in France and England. She teaches languages in Merano and works with the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, RAI Ladina and the newspaper La Voce del Campo. Her lyrical poetry focuses on human emotions, often revolving around the sorrows of life and love. Her work was published in the magazine TRAS and in her book N iade y l’anima (2018), and she has translated various texts to and from Ladin. She lives and works in Merano/San Martino in Badia.
