Angel Morlang

Ordained as a priest in 1943, Angel Morlang moved around different areas of Ladinia, including Colle Santa Lucia, La Valle, Longiarù, Rina and San Martino, where he died in 2005. In addition to his prose, lyrical poetry, songs and plays (including Fanes da zacan, 1978), he was known as an accomplished painter. For precisely that reason he set up the association Ert por i Ladins (EPL), of which he was president for 30 years. He was also editor of the Calënder Ladin, published by Rezia – along with Franz Vittur – and member of the Consulta Ladina.
