Aron Demetz
Aron Demetz is a sculptor from Val Gardena. He attended Art School in Selva and then the Nuremberg Academy. After his studies, he participated in numerous group and individual exhibitions in Europe, Asia and America. He exhibited several works at the Venice Biennale 2009. In 2010, he was appointed professor at the Carrara Academy. Aron Demetz mainly studies the human form and all its nuances. Most of the time, he works with wood, but occasionally he also works with bronze, marble, glass and resin. Some sculptures are fire burnt.
