Felix Dapoz

Felix Dapoz completed his teacher training in Merano. He then spent time in Vienna studying religious music. He taught mostly in Dobbiaco, Bolzano, where he remains the choirmaster and organist. This aspect has strongly influenced the musicality of his lyrical poetry. Dapoz’s poetry introduces us to modern Ladin lyrical poetry. He published his book In banun in 1982. His work is published in the anthology L’opera poetica de Felix Dapoz (2009). Musical compositions are an important part of his artistic identity.
