Claus Soraperra was born and raised in Canazei, where he still lives and works today. After attending the art school in Fassa, he enrolled at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. In the last ten years, he has devoted himself to figurative themes and studied the human form, which is at the center of his painting experience. A central theme of his works is identity in all its nuances. Claus Soraperra analyzes the formation and change of identity through socio-economic development and expansionist policies in our country.
