An early artistic talent led Domëne Moling to Trentino, where he honed his craft with altar sculptor Cristoforo Benedetti. During his life, he took study trips to Venice, Salzburg, Rome and Dresden. Moling created sculptures in wood, marble and ivory. From a stylistic perspective, his works are associated with the late Baroque genre. His works can be admired in the parish church in La Valle, the church at Mori and in the Church of St Michael in Bressanone, as well as at the main altar of Bressanone Cathedral.
